Nicknames: Rae, Rach
Family: David (my hubs + BFF since 2009), Aria Skye (8), and Abigail Reese (6), and 2 fur-sons (Blue, a husky, & Elliot, a yorkie mix).
Where do you live? I am lucky enough to split my time between the coast of South Carolina and the Chicago area. During the school year, I primarily reside in North Myrtle Beach, but I travel back to Chicago frequently - often 2-3 times a month.
Fun facts: I'm a Crime Junkie (I love the podcast - & think I could have been a detective in another life) & an enneagram freak (I'm a 6w7 - do you know your type?)
Education: BA in English & Communications; Master of Arts in Education
Favorite thing to photograph on the wedding day: Details (give me all of them!), beautiful portraits in golden hour light, & fun candids you aren't expecting!
Where you'll find me on a day off: Exploring! Whether its a new beach or a new city, I have major wanderlust!

Associate Photographer Collections
Danielle has been shooting weddings for over a decade, and has spent the last 7 years working on both her own business and as an associate of Rachael Osborn Photography. Her talent and skill are undeniable, and we are so lucky to offer her services as a lead shooter for our associate-led weddings in 2021-2022.
Based in Dixon, IL, Danielle takes weddings in the northern Illinois region, including greater Sterling-Dixon area, the Quad cities, Rockford, Galena, and the Northwest suburbs. Danielle is not accepting weddings in the city of Chicago at this time. For her availability, please email us.

Who photographs and edits our wedding if we book an associate collection? Danielle is always the lead shooter on our associate wedding collections, often alongside one of our trusted second photographers. All wedding images are still edited by Rachael, in the same signature style you see throughout our site.
Why do couples book an associate-led wedding? Often, couples fall in love with our work but Rachael is booked or unavailable for their day. Having our trusted friend and associate available gives them the opportunity to still work with us and get the same signature style for their wedding day, as well as all our help with timeline and detail planning.
Who shoots the engagement session for associate weddings? If possible, we want Danielle to be your engagement photographer as well. However, Rachael is also sometimes available, depending on the location. Danielle does not accept work in the city of Chicago or any locations greater than 1.5 hours from Dixon, IL, where she is based.
Who will we work with leading up to the wedding day? Rachael will handle all client communication, timeline planning, and be there to help every step of the way with her expertise from shooting over 100 weddings across the country. Danielle will be copied on all the information necessary for your day, and we are happy to set up a time for you to connect via a phone call, Facetime, or Skype as well.

Engagement Sessions
we can't wait to document Your love story
We are big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons: not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, but they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting. Engagement sessions typically last around 60-90 minutes, & we recommend bringing an outfit change. Pets are more than welcome, as are props (popping a bottle of champagne together is always cute!).
The popular collection includes an engagement session because we believe in them so strongly, and a la carte engagement (or bridal / anniversary) sessions can be added or can be booked stand-alone for $800 regardless of whether or not you opt to have us document your wedding day.
